Lance Dickson - Nova Home Loans

Lance Dickson began his career as a Loan Officer for Nova Home Loans in 1995 while recuperating from a shoulder surgery while pitching for the Chicago Cubs. Born in San Diego, California, he was a heavily recruited left-handed pitcher and spent his collegiate career at the University of Arizona. A #1 draft pick by the Chicago Cubs, Lance left the U of A to pursue a professional baseball career. Unfortunately, his left shoulder was injured and after several surgeries, his professional baseball career was cut short at 6 years.

Having known Ray Desmond (President of Nova Home Loans) from his college baseball days, Lance came to work at Nova and quickly became one of the top producing Loan Originators in Arizona. For 2001, he is ranked the #2 Loan Originator in Arizona and has been one of the country's top 200 Mortgage Loan Originators four years running by Mortgage Originator Magazine. Lance is skilled at all types of loans, whether construction loans, conventional, FHA and VA purchases as well as rate-and-term and cash-out refinances. He believes in personal attention to all of his clients and listens to them giving sound financial advice that fits their individual situations.

He understands that sometimes a borrower's situation is "out of the box" and requires that extra effort and creativity. He rolls up his shirt sleeves and goes to work for all his clients.

Lance spent much of his life playing in high level, competitive and even professional athletics which often placed him in high-pressure situations. He knows the meaning of getting the job done right, the first time, every time. Whether he's throwing a baseball or closing a mortgage loan, Lance is the first round pick for many real estate professionals and clients.
